Introduction to the Book
How to Use This Study
First of all, there’s no pressure here.
This isn’t about checking off boxes or racing through a list of lessons. This is about slowing down and letting God speak. It’s about creating space to reflect, to wrestle, and to listen—one page, one moment at a time.
This study was written for both personal and group use. You can walk through it alone with your Bible and journal, or with a small group of people who are ready to go deeper with God. Whether you’re sitting in your living room or gathering around a table, the invitation is the same:
Let God reveal what matters most.
Each lesson includes:
- A short, Scripture-rooted teaching
- A real story or testimony
- A reflection section to help you see your own heart
- Thought-provoking questions
- Practical tips to apply what you’ve learned
- A final encouragement and Scripture to hold onto
This study is designed to span 10 weeks, but feel free to go at your own pace. You might need to pause and let something sink in. You might feel the Holy Spirit lead you to stay on one lesson a little longer. That’s okay. This is a journey, not a checklist.
If you’re going through this with a group and feel led to guide others, there is a Teacher’s Guide available as a separate companion resource. It’s filled with weekly talking points, conversation starters, prayer prompts, and encouragement just for leaders. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willing heart and a safe place for others to grow.
More than anything, I hope this study leads you into the presence of God. That it causes you to pause, ask hard questions, and ultimately draw closer to Jesus, not just as Savior, but as Lord. The One worth surrendering everything for.

Dear Reader,
If you’re holding this study in your hands, I want you to know, I’ve prayed for you.
This isn’t just a workbook. It’s a warning, a mirror, and a love letter all at once. It was written from a place of surrender, through pain, conviction, and the undeniable voice of the Holy Spirit calling me to let go of everything that couldn’t save me.
What you’re about to read is more than a Bible study. It’s a story, woven from Scripture, shaped by testimony, and anchored in truth. It’s about a man Jesus spoke of over 2,000 years ago. A man who believed in eternity… but still missed it. A man who saw heaven through a window he could never enter.
His story changed me. And I believe it’s still speaking today.
This study is for anyone who’s tried to live a good life, but feels like something is still missing. For the one who has followed Jesus outwardly, but hasn’t surrendered everything inwardly. For the person who’s been distracted, delayed, or deceived by what the world says is important.
It’s for anyone who doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late to fully follow Jesus.
I didn’t write this because I have all the answers. I wrote it because I’ve stood in the ashes of what I once held dear—and I found Jesus there, waiting. Loving. Rescuing me from the very things I didn’t know were keeping me bound.
So this is your invitation.
To pause.
To reflect.
To let go of what cannot last…
and grab hold of the One who will never let you go.
I pray this journey wakes you up, leads you deeper, and draws you closer to the heart of God than you’ve ever been before.
