I had dreamed of her birth so many times, weaving the picture together in my heart like a beautiful picture . The room would be calm, filled with soft, warm light and the sound of worship melodies that carried heaven’s peace to earth. My mom and sisters would be there, their gentle voices speaking prayers over me as I labored to bring life into the world. The first sounds Cali would hear would be love, worship, and the quiet hum of family a holy beginning for a life so deeply cherished.
But when the moment came, my dream shattered like glass. The room was nothing like I had imagined.
