The heart behind Oil & Oak
Isaiah 61:3
The name Oil & Oak comes from Isaiah 61:3, which speaks of the oil of joy and being called oaks of righteousness. I loved the picture of God bringing beauty from brokenness.
As the Lord has continued to work in my own life, He has been teaching me to die to self, return to simplicity, and focus on the things that come from Him. Over the years, He has gently been peeling away some of the things I once held onto and teaching me to see His goodness in a new way. That journey has led me to appreciate the natural gifts He has placed within His creation and to learn more about caring for our bodies using simple ingredients He has already provided.
Oil & Oak is a reflection of that journey. Simple, natural products inspired by the God who restores, heals, and makes us strong in Him. My hope is that these products not only care for your skin but also serve as a reminder of the One from whom all good things come.
